“Hi Caya! Thanks so much! Matthew has really enjoyed his sessions and when he got in the car today he said “she is so helpful, I’m so glad we found her”! So, thank you, it makes me so happy to see him feel some sort of confidence with Spanish!” –Jennifer M. (Parent of a High School Student)
“I really liked going to Professor Caya because she made the time fun, and I felt so relieved every time I left, because I would learn so much. Even the things that always used to give me trouble are now easy. I really liked the fact that when I didn’t understand something, she would work through it with me until I did, even if it took a lot of time.” —Ashlyn R. (Student)
“Caya is awesome! My son Jake has worked with her the past three summers. The first summer Caya was able to teach Jake an entire middle school year of Spanish so that he could take the second year of middle school Spanish with his classmates. I was very surprised when Jake asked if he could see Caya again the following summer and again this past summer. Jake now, as a sophomore, is taking university level Spanish and receiving an A. I believe that Caya’s tutoring was instrumental in Jake embracing Spanish.” —Karen C. (Parent of a High School Student)
“Thank you Caya! So proud of Chloe, because of you she is now understanding how good success feels! Let’s keep up the good work, you are doing a fantastic job with her :)” –Julie O. (Parent of a High School Student)
“We are thankful for what you have done with Rhiannon. She is doing so much better and I give you all the credit. Without you, she would still be in peril. You connect with her on a level few can reach which is so important, and she is learning from you – not just getting enough to get by, but learning. This is so crucial.
Thank you for all you have done and will hopefully continue to do.” –Erin R. (Parent of a Middle School Student)
“Hi Caya, just wanted to thank you for tutoring me, you’ve helped me a lot! I just wanted to tell u I got 86% on my math final which raised my grade to a B from a C+. Thank you for all you have helped me with .” –Kaitlyn S. (High School Student)
“Hi Caya, I wanted to thank you for all the great work you did with Tierney this year. You had a tremendous impact on her and it showed in her improved grades and general outlook / attitude. Thank you so much.” —Jeff N. (Parent of a High School Student)
“I would highly recommend Professor Caya as a math tutor. I am one of her students, and when I first came to her I had no clue what I was doing. Something that really helped me out was how she gave me all the time that I needed to get down all of the content. Sometimes we would speed up, and sometimes we would go really slowly to make sure I understood everything. Another thing that I really liked about Professor Caya was how she made sure I knew how to do everything, and she also made sure that I knew why everything worked. That really helped me to apply what I had learned to other topics in math and it helped me to apply it to real world situations. That last thing that I really enjoyed about Professor Caya was how she made math fun. I wasn’t ever bored, and I always looked forward to going. Overall, I would highly recommend Professor Caya, as you will learn a lot and you will enjoy it!” —Kyleigh R. (Student)
“You are really making a difference in all of our lives and we are very happy to have connected with you. The improvement of his grades makes it easier on all of us and the way he’s learned to study for math is spilling over into the other subjects. Thank you!” —Ben B. (Parent of a High School Student)
“I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your work with Juanita over the past three years! You’ve helped her through Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, and two years of Spanish. You have a great ability to explain math in simple ways making it easy for her to comprehend and advance. In all subjects you’ve helped her improve her study skills and learn how to more effectively study for and take tests. She has always enjoyed her time with you and the skills you have taught her have helped her in all of her classes!
Really, Caya, you’ve been an amazing help to Juanita! We will really miss you next year!” –Pam A. (Parent of a High School Student)
